 Deep Water Oil Terminal

      The port lies in the Iraqi regional water in khor al-omaya 25 miles to the south of faw port. The south of faw port.the port contains five natural islands connected among them by bridges.some of them for berthing of taners oil which comes to faw as a terminal deport is pumped to the port by tow pipes. The port in general had been exposed to severe damages through the war.

Basrah port

     Port of basrah lies in khafga khor to the south of both faw port khor al-umaya. The work in the port began in 1973 .it contains of tow ports, one is on land which extends from rumyla to the shore and it includes some of tanks for curds oil .

     Rumyla field contains many pump pipes and other equipment.it also contains main pumping station for pumping oil through main pipe to faw where there is a yard in which there are 12 storing tank for crude oil is there pumped to the exporting wharves through two main marine lines.
